Trusted Wi-Fi For 'New Wi-Fi Community' Is Tested by Wibiki

NEW YORK, Nov. 15  /PRNewswire/ -- A new name in Wi-Fi, Wibiki, today announced it had provided a pre-release version of its client for trusted Wi- Fi services to a small group of experienced user-testers. Introducing Wibiki as the "easiest and fastest way to find free Wi-Fi", the email to testers said this is "the first step in a larger project to make Wi-Fi safer and more accessible for more people."

Wibiki is targeting what it calls "the New Wi-Fi Community," the growing number of users who depend on Wi-Fi for 24/7 connectivity. The name Wibiki comes from "wireless ubiquity". An aggressive edge-and-community-based strategy focuses on enabling universal access to free Wi-Fi Internet. Wibiki believes this can create a Wi-Fi community of communities led by users, but managed by Wibiki.
