New Trial Date Set for Speedus '160 Patent Suit Against Verizon Wireless

NEW YORK, June 30  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Speedus Corp. (NASDAQ:SPDE) today announced that a new trial date of February 19, 2007 has been set for the law suit that Speedus' unit CellularVision Technology & Telecommunications, L.P. (CT&T) filed on May 11 against Cellco Partnership (d/b/a Verizon Wireless). Trial was originally set to commence on January 22, 2007. This suit, Case No. 06-60665-Civ-Huck/Simonton, is in connection with U.S. Patent No. 4,747,160. Verizon Wireless is a joint venture of Verizon Communications (NYSE:VZ) and Vodafone (NYSE and LSE: VOD).
