Sunnylife Global Names Dr. Leonard Makowka as International Medical Director

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 24  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sunnylife Global, Inc. (Pink Sheets: SNYL) has announced the appointment of Leonard Makowka, M.D., Ph.D. as the company's international medical director.

Dr. Makowka is a distinguished surgical transplant specialist, researcher, and leading authority in hepatic science (the science of liver functions).  He successfully performed medical history's first pig-to-human liver xenograft transplantation.

The former chairman of the Department of Surgery at Cedars-Sinai medical center in Los Angeles and the former Vice-Chairman, Department of Surgery at the UCLA School of Medicine, Dr. Makowka is the only two-time recipient of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Medal in Surgery.  At Sunnylife, Dr. Makowka will oversee the company's medical and research science initiatives.
