   Social Media Ventures, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: SMVI) today announced that it has entered into an online marketing venture with Innovative Holdings, Inc. The agreement provides Innovative Holdings, Inc. with a percentage of revenue earned from Social Media Ventures, Inc.'s most popular pet social networking site, www.PetsPlaces.com. The two companies also plan to implement new websites for Social Media Ventures in the future.

The Company's new strategy is to establish itself as an important player in the social networking industry. Social Media Ventures, under the direction of CEO Robert W. Thayer, will endeavor to raise significant consumer interest in not only its pet social networking site but also its pets discount drug benefit program, www.PetsPlacesCard.com. Innovative Holdings, Inc., which also assisted Social Media Ventures, Inc. with the pet directory website, www.PetsPlacesHere.com, will provide Social Media Ventures, Inc. with the technical resources needed to implement its plan of raising interest in its pet-themed sites. The Company's previous agreement with the DPM Group has been canceled in an effort to consolidate its resources with Innovative Holdings, Inc., though Social Media Ventures, Inc. may utilize the DPM Group on a contracted basis in the future.
