Solucorp Industries Ltd. (OTC: SLUP) today announced that it has
received a patent (U.S. Patent No. 7,208,457) for its Integrated
Fixation System (IFS) Lead Out Heavy Metal Remediating Paint Stripper
from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The patent will
expire on December 16, 2024. Lead Out uses Solucorp’s
EPA Superfund Innovative Technology Evaluation (SITE) program proven
Molecular Bonding System (MBS) reagents to permanently remediate heavy
metal contaminants such as lead, chromium, cadmium, or zinc that may be
found in certain types of paints. The Lead Out paint stripper is an
environmentally friendly, soy-based product. The receipt of this patent
reaffirms Solucorp’s continued commitment to
being the leader in the field of pollution prevention products for heavy
metals contamination.
The Lead Out product line strips and remediates paint containing heavy
metals in one step. Transportation and disposal costs are significantly
reduced and containment is simplified because the user is generating a
non-hazardous waste. Lead Out easily removes multiple coats of paint in
a single application.
Rich Runco, President of Solucorp Industries Ltd. stated, "We believe
that this is the first of several patents that will be issued for IFS
delivery systems. Solucorp continues its efforts to develop innovative
and cost effective technologies for the prevention of environmental
pollution from heavy metals contamination."
