Solucorp Industries Ltd. (OTC: SLUP) has introduced its third Green
product -- environmentally “helpful”
packing peanut chips, commonly referred to as “peanuts.”
Solucorp’s environmentally “helpful”
IFS packing peanuts represent another of the company’s
patented Integrated Fixation System (IFS) heavy metals remediation
delivery technologies. The IFS “helpful”
packing peanuts are made of static-free organic starch and contain the
Company’s patented Molecular Bonding System
(MBS) heavy metals remediation technology which, when released, will
react in the presence of moisture and permanently remediate any
hazardous heavy metals that may attempt to leach out.
In the past, packing peanuts were made from non-biodegradable
petroleum-based products until pressure from environmentalists caused
manufacturers to begin using biodegradable starch peanuts, which would
disintegrate causing no harm to the environment once the chips are
disposed. These peanuts were commonly referred to as environmentally “safe”
and often were dyed green. Manufacturers, distributors or any other
entity that ships parts or other merchandise to their customers use
packing peanuts worldwide. Packing peanuts are used because they are
lightweight, surround the entire product and interlock firmly for total
protection during shipment or storage, and are cost effective.
Solucorp is currently in discussions with Real Time Marketing, LLC to
assist in the marketing of the environmentally “helpful”
packing chips. Solucorp’s LEAD OUT Paint
Stripper sales have begun to gain traction due to marketing via a
commercial website (www.leadoutpaintstripper.com)
designed and managed by Real Time Marketing. The IFS LEAD OUT product is
a soy-based stripper incorporating Solucorp’s
patented MBS technology. The MBS technology reacts with lead and other
heavy metals to provide a one-step remediation of the metals while
stripping the paint. The website has added in excess of 100 new
customers for the LEAD OUT product and Solucorp is beginning to
experience repeat orders.
Solucorp also markets its IFS-2C mercury control technology, targeted to
coal burning utilities, under the trade name MetalliFIX through CoaLogix
Inc., its exclusive licensee to the coal burning power generation
industry. Having passed several tests and demonstration milestones in
laboratories and at working power plants, Solucorp is focused on the
commercial sales of this product to the power generation industry.
“We are pleased with the efforts of Real Time
Marketing LLC, and look forward to further improving sales as we expand
our sales and marketing relationships. Our environmentally “helpful”
peanuts mark another milestone as Solucorp shifts from R&D to sales and
marketing.” states Noel E. Spindler,
President of Solucorp’s Integrated Fixation
System subsidiary.
