RenuEn's Rene Woodhead Seeks to Be Fastest Florida Woman to Reach Highpoints of All 48 States While Raising Money for Affordable Housing
JUPITER, FL--(Marketwired - Jun 11, 2014) - RenuEn Corporation (OTC Pink: RENU) (PINKSHEETS: RENU), a Renewable Energy Development and EPC Company, announced a campaign to raise money for Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County Florida.
Jeff Nemes, CEO of RenuEn, stated, "I am proud to announce that RenuEn's Director of Communications, Rene Woodhead, is on a four week mission to be the fastest woman from the great state of Florida to climb to the highest points of the lower 48 states in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record."
Nemes continued, "As previously discussed, Rene has been charged with the remaking of our RenuEn brand as well as continuing work on brand awareness through our social media marketing efforts. When Rene approached me about tying her personal journey into a fundraising campaign for Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County, we decided that this is a perfect opportunity to give back to our community in a special way."
Nemes added, "Rene and her boyfriend Jimmy Rivers recently began their quest to climb to the highest points of the lower 48 states with Rene attempting a Guinness Book of World Record to be the fastest female Floridian to do it. In addition to this sometimes dangerous but significant feat, Jimmy and Rene are also trying to raise $25,000 for affordable housing and Habitat for Humanity by the end of August. This fundraising and awareness campaign to raise $25,000 will be matched dollar for dollar by RenuEn with Energy Solutions - Energy Saving Products and installations on Habitats next home building project."
Amy Brand, Chief Development Officer for Habitat for Humanity, stated, "We are excited to work with RenuEn, Rene and Jimmy on this exciting fundraising opportunity. We have a unique opportunity to raise awareness and share the importance of affordable housing for deserving families across the country from high point to highpoint. We have established a donation page at http://share.habitat.org/ToTheTop50 and are asking everyone to spread the word about this great cause. There are many ways that you can donate from a per mile donation or something as simple as $10. All of the information can be found on the donation link above.
Mr. Nemes concluded, "To track Jimmy and Rene's 'To The Top 50' hiking campaign or donate to this great cause you can follow them on their Travel websites."
