From Mar 2020 to Mar 2025

PowerLinx, Inc. (OTCBB:PWNX), a developer, manufacturer,
and seller of power line communication products today announced
details regarding another of several product upgrades and new products
scheduled for launch in 2006.
PowerLinx is adding new covert video surveillance products to
complement its SecureView camera disguised as a light bulb. Like
SecureView, these new products transmit video over the existing
electrical lines within a home or small office. The products allow an
end user to install a covert camera anywhere in the home or small
office without running additional wiring from room to room.
One of the new products is a camera hidden in a functional air
purifier. The other product is a camera hidden in a working clock
radio. The air purifier and the clock radio were selected to house
covert cameras because of the large number of situations where they
would be a natural part of the surroundings, thereby minimizing the
risk of detection and appealing to the largest number of potential
buyers. Both products, when plugged in, transmit video over the
existing home or office electrical lines to a receiver module plugged
into a standard electrical outlet. The receiver may be connected to a
standard television or VCR.
Power line technology lends itself to covert video surveillance
since there are no cables or antennas required to transmit video to
the receiver, thus minimizing the likelihood of detection. The
products are targeted towards households who need to observe childcare
workers, domestic help, home repair personnel etc. Small business uses
include cash register monitoring, theft control etc. Power line speed
and ease of installation coupled with difficulty of detection also
meet the covert surveillance needs of law enforcement agencies. Target
retail channels include video surveillance specialty retailers,
catalogs, trade publications, electronics stores either through
licensing technology or taking the products directly to market.
Prototypes of these products have been sent to a potential licensee
for testing and are ready for presentation to potential retail
customers.
President and CEO, Mike Tomlinson said, "Sales of the SecureView
camera disguised as a light bulb have proven there is a substantial
market for covert video surveillance cameras that use our power line
technology. These new products should appeal to a much broader user
group since they enable covert surveillance in a much greater variety
of situations."
