Pure H2O Bio-Technologies, Inc. (Pink Sheets:
PRHB) announced today Existing Water Treatment Has Its Limitations. Pure
H20 Bio-Technologies, Inc. is focused on the
continued development of water disinfection technology that provides an
added, but crucial layer of protection for individuals, homeowners,
businesses and healthcare facilities.
The Company's water disinfection systems are based on highly innovative
disinfection and filtration removal that targets the principal
pathogens, such as Cryptosporidium, Giardia, and the deadly E.coli
strain 0157, which are resistant to conventional disinfectants, such as
chlorine and other halogen compounds. Recent testing proved that PRHB's
new primary disinfectant agent TTOT (tetrasilver-tetraoxide) is highly
effective for killing these problematic organisms.
Our nation's public drinking water is not as safe as it should be. Water
treatment facilities, although operated correctly and remove the vast
majority of microbial contaminants, can be breached by some recently
emerging pathogens, as evidenced by the number of waterborne disease
outbreaks, some of which affected thousands of people. In 2005, there
were 7,212 cases of cryptosporidiosis; 17,256 cases of giardiasis; 2,368
cases of E.coli 0175:H7; 9,877 cases of hepatitis; and 1,952 cases of
legionellosis, proving the threat of outbreaks still exists. In
addition, biofilms have been found on almost every submerged surface in
treatment plants and distribution systems according to the NSF Center
for Biofilm Engineering (2000).
Pure H2O will capitalize on the need for improved point-of-entry and
point-of-use water treatment systems and on the need for a disinfection
system that has the overall capacity for treating the emerging threat of
agents that are not killed by halogen-based/filtration systems.
The Company's elite team of microbiologists and engineers, together with
its founder and President, Joseph P. Doxey, achieved outstanding results
in the research, design and development of PRHB's water disinfection
products. PRHB is poised to be a leader in the industry by being ahead
of the curve in water disinfection.
"We set out to achieve an objective to provide a solution to a global
concern, unsafe drinking water. Our team of professionals dedicated
themselves to reach that objective and we are proud to say we have a
superior product to submit to NSF for certification," said Joseph P.
Doxey, President.
