Dear Fellow Shareholders:
As the newly-appointed Chief Executive Officer of Orbit Drop,
Inc., I want to share our business strategy as we strive to maximize
Orbit Drop shareholder value with some bold and exciting new business
strategies.
Since being named CEO in December, I have worked closely with
management to implement changes necessary to increase our growth and
profitability. At the same time, aggressive and thorough reviews of
all strategic alternatives to the current business model have been
examined. At this time, we are ready to begin an operational
transformation that we believe will improve our ability to compete and
better serve our clients and customers. Our marketplace can be cruel
and unforgiving to companies that are slow to react and respond to the
continually changing landscape in the world of e-commerce.
We realize that although some of our competitors in the eBay
drop-off store arena are doing well, most are subject to costly rent
and prohibitive startup costs. Many of our competitors' stores have
already failed due to poor location, stiff competition, inexperienced
management, and an overall lack of support from franchising
operations. We are pleased to say that all Orbit Drop franchises are
still functioning at this time. That will not, however, preclude us
from making radical changes to our current business model as we choose
to be proactive in streamlining our operations to insure the success
of our company, our current stores and the new hybrid business model
we are ready to roll out.
The most significant change in our business model is the
termination of our eBay drop-off store franchising efforts. Instead we
plan to market and sell a proprietary software package branded the
Orbit Drop Associate Sales Kit, to what will be a new group of Orbit
Drop Associates. This software will enable the purchaser to become an
Orbit Drop Sales Associate and compete with the many eBay drop-off
businesses at a fraction of the start up cost and with little or no
recurring overhead. In addition, there will be no residual royalties
payable to Orbit Drop for our new Sales Associates, further cutting
the cost of operations in this competitive market sector. Orbit Drop
will, however, receive residual income from a percentage of sales
generated from the use of our new software program. We will also offer
additional products which will serve to enhance our associates' sales
ability. We are in further development of multi level kits to be
released over time which will appeal to different markets, including
international customers, with the same residual incomes coming to
Orbit Drop.
In conclusion, we are extremely excited about our new business
model and the many opportunities and advantages it will afford our
company. We feel that the Orbit Drop Associate Sales Kit is an
innovated, practical and affordable product with unlimited potential.
