Mascot Mines, Inc. (Pink Sheets:MSLM) announces the addition of Montana businessman Rick Jasper of St. Regis, Montana, to the Board of Directors of Mascot Mines, Inc. Mr. Jasper fills the vacancy on the board due to the recent passing of Charles Asher. Mr. Asher passed away July 13, 2005. Mr. Jasper is the owner of Jasper's Restaurant and the Super 8 Motel as well as other businesses in St. Regis, Montana. Mr. Jasper brings significant business experience to the board. He will be able to provide valuable input to the company in its pursuit of projects in Montana as well as Northern Idaho and elsewhere.
