The Motion Picture Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:MPRG), a film and
entertainment financing and production company, announced today that
entertainment attorney Linda Lichter will be representing “HOUNDDOG”
for worldwide sales at the Sundance Film Festival. The film, starring
Dakota Fanning and Robin Wright-Penn, was selected for the dramatic
competition at this year’s festival to be held
January 18-28, 2007.
Scott Franklin, CEO of The Motion Picture Group, stated: “We

Linda Lichter has been involved in representing independent films and
filmmakers for almost 30 years and has been involved in some of the most
important films screened and sold at Sundance from its inception.
About "The Untitled Dakota Fanning
Project, aka Hounddog":
Titled “The Untitled Dakota Fanning Project,
aka Hounddog” by Sundance, this drama is set
in the 1960s American South. It is about a troubled 12-year old girl
(Fanning) who finds solace from an abusive life in the music of Elvis
Presley. Presley’s music is placed
strategically throughout the film, creating a mural of melancholy life
that finds its release and healing through singing the Blues. Written
and directed by Deborah Kampmeier, the film was selected to be in
dramatic competition at this years Sundance Film Festival.
