The Motion Picture Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets: MPRG), a film and entertainment financing and production company, announced today that its first feature film production, “I TRUST YOU TO KILL ME,” premiered on VH1 for its North American debut on November 4, 2006 and will run periodically at key hours throughout the weeks to come. The next show time will be November 16 at 1:00 am EST. According to Variety, the “consistently amusing and occasionally hilarious” film is “…arguably the best rockumentary since ‘Some Kind of Monster’,…the artfully crafted doc earns respect as an insightful and arresting behind-the-scenes look at what any band must endure to make that first lunge at the brass ring.” In the film, Kiefer Sutherland, Emmy-winning star of the hit TV show “24”, takes his indie record label act, Rocco DeLuca & the Burden, on its first international tour and chronicles the highly personal journey of the hopes, successes, and challenges of the rock band. VH1.com is showcasing Rocco DeLuca and the Burden as they discuss their band. Fans can view videos, hear selected songs, and learn more about the band. Their debut album, “I Trust You To Kill Me” was released this year and their current single, “Colorful” has just entered the AAA Top 30 chart and is aimed to be a top 10 recording. “I TRUST YOU TO KILL ME,” the debut feature-length film of Manu Boyer, is a Motion Picture Group/MRB Production presented by First Independent Pictures in association with Ironworks Music, and was produced by Pliny Porter and Matthew Brady.
