Medical Media Television, Inc. ("Medical Media")
(OTCBB:MMTV), a provider of advertiser-supported patient/parent/client
medical education programming within the place-based media environment
of medical specialty offices nationwide, announced today that its
veterinary network, PetCARE Television, Inc., ("PetCARE TV"), was
awarded the "Preferred Provider" designation by the prestigious
American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). AAHA has chosen to make
PetCARE TV's monthly client education DVD magazine available as a
member benefit to the approximately 3,000 AAHA-accredited hospitals in
North America. PetCARE TV's educational programming, focused on
optimal healthcare for companion animals, is already viewed by over 4
million pet owners each month in veterinary hospitals and clinics
nationwide.
AAHA, an international association established in 1933, is well
known among veterinarians and pet owners for its standards for
hospitals and pet health care. Accredited hospitals voluntarily
participate in the AAHA's accreditation program where consultants
regularly visit the hospitals to ensure compliance with AAHA's
standards covering patient care and client service. In addition to
providing educational programs, publications, and various services to
practices, AAHA's published standards are widely accepted to represent
the necessary components of the highest quality care veterinary
practice. The standards are periodically reviewed and updated to
ensure that they remain consistent with evolving knowledge and
technology.
Dr. John Albers, Executive Director of AAHA, stated, "We are
excited to be able to offer such a high-quality education tool to our
accredited hospitals. PetCARE TV's monthly DVD magazines will
contribute one more enhancement to our already distinguished
hospitals. We are looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial
relationship."
Dr. Daniel Aja, 2005-2006 President of AAHA, a private
practitioner and long time user of PetCARE TV, states: "Our clients
really enjoy watching the educational programming in our reception
room. The quality is quite good and often the information triggers
questions regarding our veterinary services."
Bernie Kouma, President of PetCARE TV, stated: "Our association
with AAHA is a clear vote by the veterinary community that our
educational programming is a vital part of animal health care. We look
forward to expanding our network to AAHA-accredited practices knowing
that we will gain a high level of subscriber compliance as AAHA
members are committed to providing the best animal care possible."
