MOSCOW--Russian Internet company Mail.ru Group (MAIL.LN) said Thursday it would like to dispose of its shares in social media giant Facebook Inc. (FB), which it views as "strategic," "in due time."
Earlier Thursday, Mail.ru said it had reduced its stake in Facebook to 0.75% from 1.34%, for a gain of over $300 million, based on the average market price of Facebook shares so far in October.
Mail.Ru currently owns 20.4 million Facebook shares.
