Luxor Applies to CCMC for Approval of Its New Patent Pending IBS3000(TM) Engineered Bridging and Announces Open House for Introd

Luxor Industrial Corporation (Pink Sheets:LXRRF) (TSX-V:LRL) is pleased to announce it has submitted final documentation to the Canadian Construction Materials Centre (CCMC) for approval of its IBS3000™. Submission is based on more than 150 small assembly tests performed in accordance with the relevant CCMC Master Format. IBS3000™ is Luxor's second generation engineered bridging complementing its patented IBS 2000®.

The US patent application for IBS3000™ has been filed. Product sales will commence in certain regions of Canada prior to CCMC approval using engineered sealed drawings. IBS3000™ is designed for use with sawn lumber joist, which represents 2/3 of North American floors.

The racking stiffness values for IBS3000™ are slightly lower than IBS 2000® but the new products are substantially less expensive. This will provide significant potential for extended sales for sawn lumber joist applications. The advantages of IBS3000™ will also facilitate replacement of conventional forms of bridging including cross bridging, blocking, wood strapping and metal strapping.

Architects, engineers, builders, distributors, building materials dealers, wood products manufacturers and other industry professionals will be introduced to IBS3000™ on April 22, 12:00 to 4:00, at the Company's factory located at 1615 Townline Road in Abbotsford, BC.
