Laser Energetics Files New Patent for Its New GreenStar(TM) Laser

Laser Energetics, Inc. (Pink Sheets:LNGT) is pleased to announce that the Company has completed the patent application for its new GreenStar™ Diode Pumped Green Laser technology, which will be incorporated into its Dazer Laser™ - Light Fighting Technologies product line.

Mr. Robert Battis, Founder and CEO of Laser Energetics, describes the Company's newest laser technology, "LEI has filed Provisional Patent Application No. 61/348,312 with the U.S. Patent and Trademark office, encompassing a new type of DPSS Green Laser that produces  Smarter • Smaller • Brighter • Cooler – Power. This new laser, designed for 'High Performance,' achieved a 24% conversion efficiency along with powers of over 500mWatts. This was accomplished in a package designed to fit in the Dazer Laser™.

"This incredible performance," says Battis, "will allow our Dazer Laser to run with an optimal mix of Pulse Width Modulation and Continuous Wave operation both day and night without overheating, unlike other technologies that need to be operated pulsed to conserve power for cooling reasons.  The Dazer Laser™ will outperform any other device available in the world today, during day or night operation."   

Battis continued, "This GreenStar™ Diode pumped Green laser offers a more cost-effective solution than any other laser technology on the market. In fact, it will save Laser Energetics over $600 on every Guardian and $1,100 on every Defender it produces, while at the same time bypassing the need to pay royalties associated with patents covering use of multiple lasers optical distracters.
