Votes Still Needed for Location Based Technologies September 16, 2013 Shareholder Meeting

Location Based Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:LBAS) announced today that it still needs shareholders to vote their proxy ballots so that quorum can be obtained for its annual shareholder meeting, which will be held at 1pm (Pacific) on Monday, September 16, 2013, provided a quorum is present. To achieve a quorum, a majority of shareholders who owned shares as of June 27, 2013 must vote their proxy ballots.

Shareholders who have not yet voted can contact their broker to receive a proxy ballot and control number. The control number will also be used to logon to the shareholder meeting via the web.

Shareholders who own physical stock certificates can receive control numbers and proxy ballots by contacting LBT at [e-mail].

The meeting will be held virtually and shareholders can participate by logging onto www.virtualshareholdermeeting.com/lbas13 or by dialing 412-858-8600.
