The Company was started over 40 years ago specializing in both commercial and residential Kitchen Hoods. Using the latest fabrication techniques, leading industrial design capabilities, state of the art production equipment and expert metal fabrication craftsman, the Independent Inc. brand has established itself as one of the best in the manufacturer of ventilation hoods for the residential market. All of the company's design and production is done at the Reno, Nevada facility; with marketing, purchasing and customer service administered in their Miami FL office.
Management stated, "We are pleased with the acquisition of Luxury Kitchen Hoods which had revenues of $4,800,000 during 2009 and is on the path to achieve a projected 40% increase during 2010."
