Kahzam, Inc. Completes Acquisition of TeCOUP.com LLC as TeCOUP Inks Major Deal to Market Health & Beauty Aids

Just as TeCOUP.com LLC inked an innovative business agreement with Safe4Hours® that will help promote new health & beauty aids products through thousands of Walgreens stores across the country, Kahzam, Inc. has completed its acquisition of TeCOUP.

As projected earlier this month, Kahzam (OTCBB: KHZM) – an emerging leader in the fast-growing web-based platform developer market, targeting associations and affinity groups – has completed the acquisition of Nashville-Based TeCOUP.com LLC, which provides SMS Text Coupon Messaging through patent-pending delivery services. This technology provides clients access to the next-generation of advertising and communications through e-mails and text messaging directly to target markets’ cell phones. The acquisition was closed today after issuance of two million shares of Kahzam stock to TeCOUP investors.

Regarding the carefully-timed deal with Safe4Hours®, TeCOUP’s co-founder and CEO, Jim Rinker said, “TeCoup has just entered into an exclusive agreement with Safe4Hours® First Aid Antiseptic & Skin Protectant to market the product nationwide.”

This is significant for both firms because Safe4Hours® has just recently signed a national distribution contract with Walgreens, the national drug store chain with over 7,000 retail drugstore locations in the United States.

“Using TeCOUP’s unique services not only allows consumers to save money, but they can also find the nearest Walgreens simply by texting a request,” Rinker concluded. “This is a win for Safe4Hours®, for Walgreens – and for TeCOUP.”

This market penetration potential in a service with strong overlays to group marketing – to members, constituents or others tied to non-profits and for-profits with affinity-group-like networks, was a major reason for Kahzam’s purchase of TeCOUP, according to Kahzam’s President and CEO, J. Franklin Bradley.

“Kahzam’s comprehensive platform of next-generation online search and portal services targets the $30 billion dollar Association and Affinity Group market, which includes a strong focus on mobile-based delivery to its customers,” Bradley explained.

“We created the Kahzam business model realizing the importance of direct-to-cell-phone communications and advertising delivery to our clients and advertisers,” Bradley said. “The acquisition of TeCOUP locks down the patent-pending technology necessary to that component of our company and is a significant building block needed to fulfill the Kahzam mission. TeCOUP’s strong management team and existing book of clients,” Bradley continued, “only enhances our excitement and enthusiasm for this new alliance.”

TeCOUP’s co-founder and CEO, Jim Rinker, agreed, adding, “Our team couldn’t be happier with this new alliance. It broadens our opportunities on behalf of both current and future clients.

“Text messages sent to hand-held mobile phones represents the next wave in technology-based communications and advertising,” Rinker noted. “And, direct-to-cell-phone text-message advertising is the first new advertising medium since the creation of website-based advertising nearly two decades ago,” Rinker continued. “It provides advertisers an unprecedented ability to deliver an ad message in real time to millions of carefully-targeted and receptive opt-in cell phone owners including Kahzam’s association and affinity group clients.”

No staff changes are anticipated and TeCOUP will continue operations from its Nashville offices, while Kahzam will continue operations from it’s Boca Raton, FL offices.

Kahzam is currently majority-owned by GroupMolinari, a private investment banking firm that specializes in the financial services, media and marketing industries.
