Jaguar Mining Enterprises Clarifies Management Transition

   Jaguar Mining Enterprises, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: JAGR) announced today that the recent change in management was necessitated by the need to have hands-on expertise at the mining locale, while maintaining administrative functions in the U.S.

Dale Williams will be spending the majority of his time in Mexico overseeing the day-to-day mining activities, and will continue to be an integral part of Jaguar's operations. Excavation work in Mexico is scheduled to begin next week.

Board members and officers will be announced later this week.
