Interact-TV Incorporated (OTC: ITVI) is pleased to announce that it has appointed entertainment industry veteran and story editor Alan R. Brown as the company’s new Director of Investments.

Mr. Brown began his career in the entertainment industry more than thirty years ago. In 1988, Alan became President of Production of Joseph E. Levine Presents. JELP was known for the film productions of A Lion in Winter, The Graduate, Carnal Knowledge, The Producers, and the Hercules series of feature films.

In 1990, Alan was the executive producer of the Year of the Comet for Castle Rock Entertainment/Columbia Pictures; and in 1991, he was contracted to produce Sea Kings for Universal Studios. Both screenplays were written by William Goldman.

He served on the Board of Directors of National Video Industries, a Production/Post Production facility in New York. Alan also directed and edited the story and film, Three Golden Keys for Marly Rusoff at Double Day.

In 1995, he was contracted to produce Pat Conroy’s Beach Music for Paramount Pictures, which was the first agent-less deal of this magnitude in Hollywood history with Mr. Brown handling all negotiations on behalf of the writers.

In 2007, under his own company banner, Mr. Brown arranged the film slate financing for an Australian film company, and coordinated the bridge and outside independent financing for their clients.

Mr. Brown currently works as a story editor for both novels and screenplays, while continuing to arrange financing for films. Mr. Brown has been a guest faculty member and speaker for the University of South Carolina’s Low Country Writers’ Conference, whose members included many of America’s most illustrious southern writers. He also lectures on screenplay writing, novel writing, and film finance.

“We have many reasons to count ourselves lucky to have had the opportunity to appoint Alan to the Board and to our newly created position of Director of Investments,” said ITVI President Robert Bryan, “but what especially struck us was the way in which Alan has succeeded both as an artist and as a businessman. It’s rare to find someone who has spent equal amounts of time developing projects and sorting through contracts as he has lecturing on the elements of story and editing works of fiction. We consider this appointment a watershed moment for the company.”

For his part, Mr. Brown was equally enthused. “I look forward to working with Interact and its family of companies in expanding its inventory of products from music to film, published prose and other creative expressions, by bringing in quality projects as well as the resources with which to complete and distribute them.”

About Interact-TV: Interact-TV Incorporated, a publicly-traded Delaware corporation (OTC: ITVI) is a diverse entertainment company with interests in various media, including, through its wholly-owned subsidiary’s subsidiary, Pocket Kid Records, a Los Angeles-based record label, recorded music products.
