Isonics Corporation (OTCBB: ISON.OB), a company focused on the provision of homeland security services and 300-millimeter (and smaller diameter) test wafers and reclamation services, wafer thinning and custom wafer products for the silicon industry, announced today that its key business and quality improvement managers were now in place, led by Vice President and General Manager Fred Schiele. Mr. Schiele brings more than 25 years of senior management experience at such companies as Electro Scientific Industries, Inc. (ESIO), ADE Corporation (ADEX), JMAR Technologies, Inc. (JMAR), and Celerity, Inc. He holds a BS in Physics and an MBA in Management/Finance from the University of Wisconsin. Joining Mr. Schiele is David Worsley, Director of Engineering and Patrick Taylor, Director of Quality. Mr. Worsley comes to Isonics with over 25 years experience in engineering, product quality, and project management at various companies including Analog Devices Inc. (ADI), Electro Scientific Industries, Inc. (ESIO) and Celerity, Inc. His semiconductor experience includes precision wafer handling and direct customer contact with several companies including Intel Corporation (INTC), Hewlett-Packard Company (HPQ), Raytheon Company (RTN) and Texas Instruments Incorporated (TXN). Since joining Isonics, he has introduced a project management discipline for “best-in-class” and “world class” performance. He is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and is a University of London honors graduate in electronics. Mr. Taylor comes to Isonics with over 20 years of experience as a research scientist, director of analytical services and lead scientist for major chemical companies. From 1995 until his recent appointment as Director of Quality, he was a lead scientist at SUMCO USA, the Mitsubishi Silicon/Sumitomo Silicon USA entity. Mr. Taylor holds a BS in Chemistry from Texas A&M University and a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh, where his specific focus, as well as his dissertation, was on the chemistry of silicon surfaces.
