HyPower Fuel Announces Meetings with Alberta Government to Apply for and Receive Part of $239 Million in Funding

  
    
  
  
    
      HyPower Fuel Inc. (Pinksheets: HYPF) is pleased to announce that over 
      the past few weeks they have had a number of meetings and calls with 
      Officials from the Department of Energy and the Department of the 
      Environment for the Government of Alberta.
    
    
      Mr. Douglas Bender, President of HyPower Fuel Inc., reports that “we 
      were pleased the Government of Alberta has taken an interest in our 
      unique, ultra-green alternative fuel technologies. In particular, 
      Alberta Energy has suggested that HyPower submit a grant application 
      under its Biorefining Commercialization and Market Development Program 
      and the Bio-energy Infrastructure Development Program. Both of these 
      grant programs are part of the Alberta government’s 
      $239 million Nine-Point Bio-energy Plan designed to encourage the growth 
      of a clean, renewable fuel industry in Alberta.”

      submit an application to take advantage of these innovative and forward 
      looking funding programs to assist us in the advancement and 
      commercialization of our unique, ultra-green biofuel processes. We 
      believe that the representatives from Alberta Energy were impressed by

      been very supportive of our efforts to ensure that our technologies 
      become market ready in the near future. Of course, this is something 
      that HyPower is looking forward to as it will be great to have two 
      separate and substantial revenue streams from our two exciting
