In partnership with Andretti Autosport, the troops were brought to the Andretti Autosport Facility in Indianapolis for a behind-the-scenes tour, meet & greet with Michael Andretti, and a surprise gift of Indy 500 tickets.

Following the private event for the troops, hhgregg and the Andretti team are also inviting the public to come and bring family and friends to celebrate the Indy 500 by attending the “Race an Andretti” event on Sunday, May 15, 2016. Guests are invited to meet and even race Andretti drivers Marco Andretti, Ryan Hunter-Reay and Carlos Muñoz with remote control cars that will be provided on-site.

In addition to the opportunity to “Race an Andretti”, on-site activities will include non-stop games and giveaways, with a raffle happening every 15 minutes giving away tickets to the Indy 500 taking place on May 29th.
