Green Star Releases Further Fuel Savings Test Data

  Today Green Star Products, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GSPI) announced that it has completed an efficiency road test on a diesel long haul truck.

Test data included 249,564 baseline miles and 13,863 additive test miles on a Euro 4, 2009, 500 HP Volvo VNL780 Truck. Fuel efficiency increase was 10.03% from 6.18 mpg to 6.8 mpg. The test also included TVT Engine Oil Energizer oil additive at 5% and TVT Diesel Fuel Additive (DFE) at a ratio of 1,500 to 1 for a total cost of $60.38 for both additives (for the test period of 13,863 miles).

Fuel savings were estimated to reduce fuel costs by $613.50 over the 13,863 miles which resulted in a Return on Investment (ROI) of 1,016% ($613.50 divided by $60.38).

Testing has also confirmed substantial reduction in engine wear verified by trace metal analysis including iron, copper, lead, tin, and 20 other elements.

Since engine design differs greatly from engine to engine, we would expect variable results from each group test. However, most engines tested have shown good ROIs with CO2 reductions and extended engine life as additional benefits.
