GreenMan Technologies, Inc. (AMEX:GRN changing to GMTI)
a leading recycler of almost 20 million scrap tires per year announced
today that it has been issued a new ticker symbol (GMTI) and effective
with the opening of trading on June 15, 2006, will be quoted under the
new symbol on the Pink Sheets. In order to find the Company's
information through online financial websites it maybe necessary to
enter "GMTI.PK".
The Company believes its common stock is eligible for quotation on
the OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB), subject to a market maker establishing
a market in the Company's common stock on such quotation service under
applicable OTCBB rules. The Company has been advised by several market
makers of their interest in sponsoring the quotation of the Company's
common stock on the OTCBB. The Company will announce when its common
stock has been cleared for quotation on the OTCBB.
As previously announced (See June 8, 2006 press release) trading
of the GreenMan's common stock on the American Stock Exchange ("AMEX")
will be suspended after the close of trading on June 14, 2006 and the
AMEX will proceed with filing an application with the Securities and
Exchange Commission to strike GreenMan's common stock from listing on
the AMEX.
