Far East Wind Power Announces Appointment of James Crane as CFO

Far East Wind Power Corp.

(OTCBB: FEWP) ("Far East Wind" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of James T. Crane to the position of Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.

Mr. Crane is an experienced public company executive originally trained at Ernst & Young. He brings an extensive background with notable achievements in the development and management of business ventures in China.

He has held executive level positions with several ventures in China including Longwei Petroleum Investment Holding Limited ("Longwei") of Taiyuan City as CFO (June 2009 - Present). Longwei operates in Shanxi Province and is a wholesale distributor of finished petroleum products serving select gas outlets and coal power plants. He was instrumental in the successful completion a $15 million financing in October 2009 and anticipated the successful listing of Longwei on the NYSE Amex in June 2010.

Additionally, Mr. Crane served with Subaye, Inc. ("Subaye) of Guangzhou City as CFO (October 2007 - Present). The Company operates throughout Asia primarily providing internet-based marketing and cloud computing products to the emerging markets within China. Mr. Crane was instrumental in successfully listing Subaye on the NASDAQ Global Market in March 2010.

Mr. Crane is the Founder and President of J. Crane & Company of Beijing, a professional services firm which provides various public company services involving financial, accounting and investor communications matters. Mr. Crane resides in Beijing which places him firmly at the intersection between government officials and corporate leaders in the wind industry. He has worked with businesses listed on the NYSE, NASDAQ, NYSE Amex and OTCBB stock exchanges since 1999. He was educated at the Bentley College Undergraduate School, where he received a B.S. in Accountancy. He is a certified Public Accountant, Massachusetts, and was formerly registered as a FINRA General Securities Representative, and FINRA Investment Advisor, Series 7 and 65.
