Ecoloclean Industries, Inc. Receives Positive Interest Through
the Dairy Waste Technology Tour
CRYSTAL CITY, Texas, April 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ecoloclean Industries,
Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: ECCI) announced today their state-of- the-art solid
waste control equipment and their electrocoagulation technology was a featured
technology in the recent Dairy Waste Technology Tour, orchestrated by Comanche
County, Texas and sponsored by businesses from the surrounding area. The
symposium was held on April 15, 2004 at two different sites: The Ray Johnston
Dairy and the Wildcat Dairy, both located in Comanche County, Texas. Dairy
producers and other agri-business interests attended the symposium to ascertain
the latest technologies and options for removing waste products created in the
agricultural industry.
Ecoloclean brought their solids control equipment and their electrocoagulation
equipment to demonstrate the ability to clean the solids from the waste-stream
to 5 microns and to remove phosphates from the waste- stream. Under federal
and state regulatory law, agri-businesses are required to meet certain
standards in the amount of chemical levels evident in the waste-waters of their
business sites. Phosphates have proven to be a problematic chemical to remove
from these waste-waters. When these chemicals attain the maximum allowable
level, the dairy farms must either cease operations or lower the discharge
levels to an acceptable percentage to continue to operate. Ecoloclean's
process effectively removes phosphates and other pollutants deemed dangerous by
the Environmental Protection Agency from waste-waters and does so
cost-effectively. In previous testing, Ecoloclean was able to remove 84% of
these phosphates in tests last May and June on the Ray Johnston Dairy in
Comanche County Texas.
Royis Ward, President and CEO of Ecoloclean Industries, Inc., stated, "We have
received exceptionally positive comments and feedback from the participants of
the Dairy Waste Technology Tour. As more individual farmers and companies
witness the effective results of our processes, our patented technology gains a
stronger foothold in the agric-business industry. We will continue to develop
the interest we have generated in this industry, as well as further explore how
our products are effective and applicable for the paper, food processing and
related industries."
The Company will further demonstrate their technology and capabilities in the
coming months with the Texas A&M Extension Service ("TAMES"). Ecoloclean and
five other companies, who are members of the new technology group selected by
TAMES, will conduct studies on dairy farms in the area. Ecoloclean will treat
several thousand gallons of waste-water in the Comanche County Texas area for
these studies. TAMES will observe and monitor the treatment and conduct the
analysis on the discharge from the Ecoloclean Equipment.
