Canadians Click With Spicier Chick

DALLAS, TX , parent company of the 40 year old "Dixie Lee" brand name, with more than 80 franchised restaurants open, announced today that its product development team has created a new spicier chicken menu to meet the demand of changing consumer eating habits.

Mr. Noele Murano, New Product Development Co-ordinator for Dixie Lee Chicken & Seafood, has announced that a new line of chicken has been developed to meet the growing demand of the consumer's changing eating habits. Consumers continue to embrace and crave new, spicier tastes in foods, including chicken. This can be seen with the fast acceptance of spicier chicken recipes coming from Mexico and Central and South America, as well as Southeast Asian curried chicken.

The new line of Dixie Lee chicken will have a spicier taste profile but will still have the tenderness and texture of the "original" Dixie Lee chicken. The new spicier chicken has been consumer tested in Canada with very positive results. The spicy chicken will be rolled out to all Dixie Lee units in early January and will be promoted with a new marketing campaign to support the new product launch; perhaps "Dixie Lee's Clickin' with Spicy Chicken." Fortunately, the "official" campaign name hasn't been revealed yet.
