announced today that it has expanded its development initiatives for its
products and services to include new technologies such as wireless
communications and emergency "panic" alert features for its heart monitors, including global
positioning systems for locating patients in need of medical help. Cardiac
Network has a signed letter of intent with a third-party technology company
to develop exclusive and proprietary cutting-edge technology for all of
Cardiac Network's products and services.

Cardiac Network anticipates announcing further details of its development programs and new products and services during the first quarter of 2009, or as new material definitive agreements are signed.
