Clean Green Energy, LLC to Install Wind Turbines at YMCA

BRIGHTON, MI--(Marketwired - Jan 7, 2014) - Clean Green Energy, LLC (CGE) (PINKSHEETS: MKBY) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with YMCA and JCC of Greater Toledo (YMCA) to research Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) installations of CGE's WIND•e20® on-site wind turbines and solar at locations throughout Michigan and Ohio. The first PPA site is expected to be at YMCA Storer Camps in Jackson, Michigan.

YMCA Storer Camps is nationally recognized as a premier outdoor education center. Every year, 17,000 students, teachers, parents, and other leaders take up residence for a collective 80,000 nights.

Glen King, Chief Development Officer for YMCA, pioneered a vision for students to live in a "Net Zero Energy" use environment. "We are here to inspire the next generation of energy innovators," says King. "By having renewable sources like wind, solar, and biomass at our camp, we provide a total immersion learning environment to show real-world examples of environmental stewardship and sustainable energy."

Already into the third phase of their "Net Zero Energy" vision at Storer, a highly efficient 450-seat capacity dining facility was built as well as a prototype Net Zero Lodge with geothermal. They have also installed a 10 kW solar array and a multiple-boiler biomass system.

"We are privileged to be working with an iconic organization like the Y," says Bryan Zaplitny, President of CGE. "Our mutual dedication to the education of youth and social responsibility is the driving force of all we do together."

CGE and YMCA are currently configuring WIND-e20® and solar PPAs.
