increase of 1.67% over the $4,223,508 in sales reported for the first
two quarters of FY 2006. The Company reported income before income taxes
of $14,059 for the second quarter and $43,351 year to date for fiscal
year 2007 compared to a loss before income taxes of ($45,494) for the
second quarter and ($96,829) year to date for fiscal year 2006.
Commenting on the results, Larry E. Williams, Chief Executive Officer
said, “We are pleased the second quarter
performance shows continued strength in the core business. We were able
to both increase year to date revenue and show a continuation of
profitability. We will continue to undertake more investment in
operations and engineering to respond to strong market demand.”
Chief Financial Officer Donald Hedquist said, “We
have started to reinvest more money into expanding our product lines to
meet an increasing demand. Our Tijuana sewing facility has recently
increased hiring and is working seven days a week to fill demand for
parachute systems. We expect to begin seeing decreases in inventory as
we transition more business to the BRS owned facility.”
