American Scientific Resources 2009 Annual Meeting of Shareholders Adjourned

WESTON, Fla., Dec. 31  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Scientific Resources, Inc. (Pink Sheets: ASFX) (the Company) annual meeting of shareholders on December 28, 2009 was adjourned due to an insufficient quorum.

As there were not sufficient shares present in person or by proxy to constitute a quorum at the time of the Annual Meeting, the Company adjourned the Annual Meeting in order to permit further solicitations of proxies.

The Company will notify shareholders as to when the meeting will be re-scheduled, and also urges those who have not sent in their proxies to please do so.  Proxies can be faxed to 954-665-2820.
