ASCC Targets Underserved Market for Gluten-Free Vodka

As the Aristocrat Group Corp. (OTCBB: ASCC) puts the finishing touches on its debut vodka brand for release this summer, the company announced today that it plans to target the growing, underserved market for gluten-free spirits in the U.S.

ASCC’s new vodka could be hitting the market at just the right time. According to market research firm NPD Group, there has been a steady increase over the last four years in the percentage of adults who claim they are cutting down on or avoiding gluten completely. About 28 percent of adults 18 and older reported they are avoiding gluten.

Some experts estimate about 6-7 percent of the U.S. population may be gluten-sensitive, meaning some 20 million people in the United States alone could have the condition.

To avoid gluten, consumers must reject products containing wheat, barley and rye, eliminating many liquor options. Made in the U.S.A. from Idaho potatoes, ASCC’s new vodka will give gluten-sensitive consumers an exciting, new option for cocktails.
