AuraSource Inc. Enhances Intellectual Property Portfolio With New Chinese Patents

  AuraSource Inc. (OTCQB: ARAO) (OTCBB: ARAO), a developer of hydrocarbon clean fuel and mineral beneficiation technology, today announced that it was issued two new Chinese patents covering its Centrifugal Separator (PCT/CN2011/071757) and Centrifugal Jig (PCT/CN2011/071763). These patents were also issued under the Patent Cooperation Treaty ("PCT") process, which provides a unified procedure for filing patent applications to protect inventions internationally.

"These two new patents significantly enhance AuraSource's technology and intellectual portfolio, as management focuses on commercialization," said AuraSource President and CEO Philip Liu. "With the upcoming construction of a large-scale AuraCoal™ demonstration plant in Wuxi, China and commercialization efforts in 2H 2013, these patents on our Centrifugal Separator and Centrifugal Jig were essential, since they are two critical components in the beneficiation process for both our AuraCoal™ and AuraMetal™ technology platforms."

The Centrifugal Jig for mineral applications and the Centrifugal Separator for liquid applications combines the principles of conventional jigs and separators with centrifugal force in order to extend the efficient size recovery of fine mineral and liquid separation processes.
