Explanation of Responses:
(1)	1. Applied Minerals, Inc. (the "Company") sold to Mr. Levy 125,000 shares of common stock at $0.08 per share. The purchase also included an issuance to Mr. Levy of 125,000 warrants to purchase shares of common stock. Each warrant allows Mr. Levy to purchase one share of common stock for $0.15. The term of each warrant is three years.
