Homeland Security Technology, Inc. (a Division of Amnis,
Inc (Pink Sheets:AMNI)) announced today that HST, Inc., has formed a
new division geared toward developing and commercializing new
ballistic technologies.
The new division will headed by Mr. Warren Brader, a widely known
and respected industry analyst and explosives expert. Mr. Brader is
tasked with focusing his division towards training, testing, design
and development of new ballistic compounds and will also be
responsible for weapons and ballistic consulting and evaluations of
current security programs as pertain to assessments associated with
ballistic threats.
"This new ballistics division will complement our current security
division by adding threat assessment, testing and consulting services
to our current programs," commented Colonel Powers. "Mr. Brader has
recently conducted consulting, testing and evaluations for such
clients as: The Cubic Corp., DARPA, General Atomics and The University
of California Long Beach."
"Our goal is to work with manufacturers in the development and
testing of lightweight, moldable ballistic materials capable of
defeating high velocity ammunition," said Brader. "My division will be
working towards lessening the weight our soldiers have to carry while
protecting them from high velocity impacts."
HST, Inc. said Brader is already hard at work and has begun
testing a variety of compounds they hope will be capable of defeating
high caliber, high velocity ammunition like the type currently used by
insurgents in attacks against American Military Forces deployed in the
Middle East.

Warren Brader is a United States Army Combat Veteran having served
in Vietnam and Operation Iraqi Freedom I & II. He is a well recognized
military weapons and explosives expert and retired from the United
States Army after 30 years of honorable service. Brader is an
accomplished instructor who was awarded nine (9) different Military
Occupational Specialties. Brader has taught communications systems
including cryptographic items, vehicle driving techniques and
maintenance, combat demolitions, conventional and un-conventional
weapons and warfare techniques, Nuclear, Chemical and Biological
Weapons instruction, tracked vehicle fire control systems, riot
control, water treatment, weapons repair and infrastructure
restoration. He has most recently served as an instructor of
Improvised Explosive Devices (IED's) teaching deployed soldiers how to
identify and deal with the threat of such devices. Brader has taught
thirteen Battalions of Marines, Army and Navy members in IED
awareness. He is an advisor to many law enforcement and US Government
agencies on fighting the war on terrorism relating to military
operations and explosive threats. Mr. Brader has designed many useful
tools used for IED detection and gives lectures, briefing and
brainstorming sessions on the subjects of counter terrorism.
