HOUSTON, March 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Scott Wolinsky, a former director of American International Industries, Inc. ("American"; Ticker "AMIN"), and Maria T. Wolinsky, his wife, have agreed to the consolidation of their defamation and fraud claims that were pending in two separate civil lawsuits against American and its CEO, Daniel Dror, in the Harris County District Courts into the ongoing Houston arbitration proceeding announced by American on December 17, 2014.
The Wolinskys' decision to dismiss the civil lawsuits pending in the Harris County District Courts was based solely on American's and Dror's agreement that the Wolinskys' claims could be joined and consolidated into the arbitration proceeding, and American's and Dror's Motion to Dismiss under the Texas Citizen's Participation Act had no bearing on the Wolinskys' decision to dismiss the lawsuits.
The Wolinskys are represented by attorney Andrew K. Meade of Hawash Meade Gaston Neese & Cicack LLP (2118 Smith Street, Houston, Texas 77002, telephone (713) 658-9001, website http://www.hmgnc.com), and attorney Robert J. Kruckemeyer (800 Commerce Street, Houston, TX 77002, telephone (713) 226-5175, website http://www.kruckemeyerlaw.com).
