ABOUT ADVENTURES OF THE ELEMENTS (AOE):
The Adventures of the Elements (AOE) concept is derived from a series of
children's novels currently being used in many classrooms and available
to families by order through Barnes & Noble®
and Borders® as well as the company’s
own website at www.alchemycreativeinc.com.
The characters are children and superhero personifications from the
Periodic Table of Elements. The children and superhero guardians of the
Elements experience Adventures leading them to the “Palace
of Knowledge.” The stories have demonstrated
a high popularity quotient with elementary and middle school children.
Substantial scientific learning has been shown to result from
experiencing the books and the related Trading Card Game.
Richard James III, creator of Adventures of The Elements, has spent the
last 10 years developing the AOE product. Richard has become a fixture
at numerous curriculum conferences and seminars where he has presented
the educational benefits that can be realized while children are
relating to the materials as entertainment.
