Alkane, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: ALKN) announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Security Solution and Technologies, Inc. (SST) and the Palmer Consulting Group to receive third party validation through testing at one of the three national security laboratories: Lawrence Livermore, Los Alamos and Sandia.

The technology to be tested and validated by these world-class laboratories is based on the recently announced filing of Alkane's patent titled "Synergistically-Reactive Synthetic Fuel That Enhances Mechanical Energy Output From Internal Combustion Engines."

SST has a nine-year history and relationship with the Department of Energy's (DOE) national security laboratories including the three above-named ones, and with bringing the laboratories' technologies and research testing capabilities to private enterprise both domestically and internationally.

Alkane, through its association with SST, is in the process of having access to a national security laboratory to assess its existing and future diesel additive products for independent confirmation of established fuel savings metrics. The research confirmation process is a key step in Alkane's planned Carbon Credit certification process.

Matt Zuckerman, President and CEO of Alkane, Inc., says, "This is huge. We will be working with the DOE's group of the most respected research labs in the world. They have access to the highest levels of technology for testing and can help get our product into the hands of some of the most influential people in the world."
