Alkane Announces Successful First Shipment to Monster Diesel Korea, Inc.

Alkane, Inc. (Pinksheets: ALKN) is pleased to announce that they have shipped the initial order of Monster Diesel™ to South Korea. The $50,000 order was for 32 ounce and 8 ounce bottles of Monster Diesel™ that will be distributed in the South Korean automotive aftermarket.

The news of the South Korean distribution agreement that is valued at $11.5 million (USD) over 5 years was first announced on December 9, 2010. Since the agreement Alkane, Inc. and Mervita, LLC have worked to establish the necessary infrastructure to handle the anticipated influx of orders. In addition, Mervita, LLC has established Monster Diesel Korea, Inc., headquartered in Seoul, Korea, for the purpose of marketing and distributing Monster Diesel™ in South Korea. The agreement calls for an additional $1 million (USD) of Monster Diesel™ to ship in 2011.
