("Home Capital" or "the Company") (TSX: HCG) today announced it has filed and mailed its management information circular in connection with a special meeting of its shareholders. The special meeting of shareholders will be held on September 12, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time in Toronto, Ontario for purposes of considering the approval of an additional equity investment in the Company by a wholly-owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. ("Berkshire").
