American Stock Exchange Lists the Common Stock of GeoPetro Resources Corporation

NEW YORK, Feb. 15  /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange(R) (Amex(R)) today listed the common stock of GeoPetro Resources Corporation under the ticker symbol GPR.

GeoPetro Resources Company is an oil and gas company in the business of exploring and developing oil and natural gas reserves on a worldwide basis. Since inception, the Company has conducted leasehold acquisition, exploration and drilling activities in North America, Australia and Indonesia.
