S&P Dow Jones Indices Announces Changes to the S&P/TSX Composite Index

TORONTO, Feb. 23, 2022 /CNW/ - S&P Dow Jones Indices announces the following changes to the S&P/TSX Composite Index:

The shareholders of Cominar Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX: CUF.UN) have agreed to the terms of a Plan of Arrangement resulting in the acquisition by a consortium led by an affiliate of Canderel Management Inc. Each share of Cominar will receive C$11.75 cash consideration. The deal is expected to close on March 1, 2022.  Cominar shares will be removed from the S&P/TSX Composite Index prior to the open of trading on March 2, 2022.
