CHICAGO, March 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- XA, Inc., (XA) (OTC BB: XAIN), a
major national event marketing firm that serves many Fortune 500 companies,
reported today that it has been selected as event production agency of record
for the 2005 McDonald's All American Game.
On March 30, the McDonald's All American Game will bring the top high school
basketball talent in the nation to South Bend, Ind. These 48 future NCAA, NBA
and WNBA superstars will rely on years of practice and natural talent, not the
luck of the Irish, as they tip off the 28th annual Boys Game and the fourth
annual Girls Game at the University of Notre Dame's Joyce Center. The
McDonald's All American Girls Game tips off at 5:30 p.m. (EST) and will be
broadcast on ESPN2 on Thursday, March 31 at 5:00 p.m. (EST), while the
McDonald's All American Boys Game begins at 8 p.m. (EST) and will be broadcast
LIVE on ESPN.
National sponsors for the 2005 Game include: Coca-Cola(R), PowerAde(R), and
Reebok(R). For more information on the McDonald's All American Game, please

host city's local Ronald McDonald House Charities(R) (RMHC(R)) chapter, where
net proceeds from the Game will go to help support the chapter's many
initiatives. A portion of proceeds from the 2005 McDonald's All American Game
benefits Ronald McDonald House Charities. Previous beneficiaries of McDonald's
All American Games include Sickle Cell Anemia Research, the United Negro
College Fund and many other local children's charities. Nearly $4 million has
been raised since the Game was first played in 1978.
Marketers spent $152 billion in event marketing in 2003, up about 15% since
2002. In 2003, budgets for event marketing reached an average of $901,935,
according to PROMO's 2004 Event Marketing Study. (Source: PROMO Magazine,
