Stora Enso's Converted Shares Recorded in Finnish Trade Register



HELSINKI, Finland, July 15  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Stora Enso (NYSE: SEO)
today announced that during the 1-30 June 2004 conversion period there were
four conversions and a total of 9 805 series A shares were converted into R
shares. The shares were recorded in the Finnish trade register today, 15 July
2004, and trading in the new R shares will start on 16 July 2004.
