Purchase of own securities

The Board of Royal London Growth & Income Trust plc announces that it has today
made a market purchase of 100,000 geared ordinary shares of one penny each in
the capital of the Company (SEDOL No. 0213154), representing 0.091% of the
current issued geared ordinary share capital of the Company, for cancellation at
a price of 22 pence per geared ordinary share.



Following cancellation, 109,898,239 geared ordinary shares in the Company will
remain in issue.
