Notification of Director's dealings in shares and securities

The Company has today been notified that James Williams purchased 100,000 geared
ordinary shares of one penny each (being 0.092% of the issued share capital), on
8 April 2003 for consideration of 24p each and in addition purchased 75,000 of
9% Convertible Unsecured Loan Stock 2020 (being 0.136% of the number of CULS in
issue) on 7 April 2003 for consideration of 92.5p each.

Following the above transaction, Mr Williams continues to have the following
interests in the capital of the Company, registered in his own name:
