BLAINVILLE, QUEBEC, April 27  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mr. Yvon Rancourt,
Chairman of NewTech Brake Corp. (OTC BB: NWTB), is pleased to announce that Mr.
Francois Houle, has accepted an appointment to the NewTech Brake Corp. Board of
Directors on Monday, April 26, 2004.

Mr. Yvon Rancourt stated: "We are very pleased that Mr. Houle has accepted to
